Instead of purchasing normal counters, why not use fruit counters. Fruit counters are a wonderful, educational resource that allows early learners to explore different fruits but also learn how to count with them as well. During my teaching experience, i’ve had young children struggle with the concept of grouping, counting on, counting backwards and so on. With the use of fruit counters and these wonderful template/number cards, children find it more interesting and entertaining to learn to count.
